The passing score for a Northstar Digital Literacy proctored test is 85%. Hawthorne students are averaging over 94% as a passing mark.

Hawthorne Education Center students who have taken the Northstar Digital Literacy Certificate have gone on to college and career readiness courses, trained in our CNA and Paraprofessional programs and used their certification for job applications.

The students take assessments through Hawthorne's own Northstar website and learn using the LearnerWeb platform.  This means that we are able to monitor student progress, view student results and assist students with areas of difficulty.
