Adult Literacy

Adult Literacy is a two-generation approach to building skills necessary for life success with opportunities offered for parents enrolled in Adult Literacy at Hawthorne and their children ages zero to five years old.

AwEA Enrichment

Adults with Exceptional Abilities offers adaptive classes and activities for adults with disabilities ages 18 years of age or older, from cooking and crafts to fitness and music.

Adult Enrichment

Adult Enrichment through Community Education offers adults 18 years of age and older the opportunity to learn new skills and make new connections. 

Preschool Enrichment

Early Childhood through Community Education offers something for all of our earliest learners from birth through 5 years old. This includes RPS Preschool, ECFE, and Enrichment courses.

Youth Enrichment

Youth Enrichment through Community Education provides opportunities for all students grades K-12.

Learning Project Mini-Grants

The RPS Community Education Advisory Council (CEAC) offers mini-grants to support new, youth-involved learning projects by student clubs and community non-profits, for up to $1,500 per project, with a possible second-year renewal. Council funds are to be used for projects that support learning experiences beyond the traditional school day. We value learners of all ages, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, abilities, and economic experiences and welcome proposals that serve various audiences. Share your ideas with us today!
