Virtual Fair Registration
To participate in this year's fair, you will need to A) create a ZFairs account and B) register for the RRSEF through the Community Education Office. After your project paperwork is reviewed in January, you will need to C) upload a video presentation and three images into Zfairs for virtual judging in February.
A) You can begin creating your Zfair account starting on Friday, October 16. You do not need to upload all your information into Zfairs at one time, and you can begin your account and add information later on. If your project requires Scientific Review Committee (SRC) approval, however, you should upload your fair paperwork and your completed research plan as soon as you are able after October 16. You have until Friday, January 22, 2021 to upload all of your paperwork into Zfairs.
B) All students must register for the RRSEF through the Community Education Office (507-328-4000) by no later than Friday, January 22, 2021 to be eligible for this year's regional fair. You can register to present a project, a research paper, or both. You will pay your registration fee ($10 for project or paper; $20 for project and paper) at this time. If you are part of a team, all team members must register individually through Community Education and pay the registration fee.
C) Videos and three supplementary images for virtual judging must by uploaded into Zfairs no later than Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Full video guidelines from the Minnesota State Science and Engineering Fair will be available shortly.
Virtual judging sessions will occur online through Zfairs on February 17 from 6-7:30 PM. Paper judging and high school ISEF judging will occur online beginning at 6 PM on February 18.
