National PE and Sport Week is each year from May 1 to May 7!
This week celebrates the importance of including healthy habits such as staying active in your everyday life. Including physical education in our curriculum is vital to a well-rounded education. It helps students recognize and value the contributions of sound physical conditioning and experience activities that help maintain physical fitness.

If you're checking out the City Wide Garage Sales this weekend, keep your eyes open for gently used backpacks. We could use them for the Rocket Community Room. High schoolers prefer larger, more durable backpacks. Thank you! Donations can be brought to the front door of JM.


Come support Relay for Life by mentioning it to the cashier when dining at The Workshop Food Hall and Bar on May 8th from 4-8pm! Workshop will donate 15% to JM's Relay for Life event happening on May 18th at JM Stadium, 4-10pm.

PLEASE NOTE the DATE and TIME CHANGE: Class of 2024, Graduation Cap and Gown pickup is now THIS Friday, May 3rd from 11:00 am-1:30 pm in the front lobby at Door 1, John Marshall HS. You will also be able to register/pay for the Senior Party if interested as well as purchasing a Class of 2024 yard sign (optional as well). Congrats Seniors!


Chef Mark Kranz, owner of the Purple Goat & JM graduate, taught Mrs. Hansen-Spallees's Global Culinary classes about Asian cuisine. Mark got his start in the culinary world taking FACS foods classes! Students made pork and shrimp spring rolls with him. HUGE thank you to Mark for donating his time and all materials!

Have I mentioned these students are the best???? James, Claire, and Shea all made it to the final rounds! James placed 6th in Drama, Claire placed 8th in Info, and Shea placed 5th in Prose! Rocket pride, but also…Rochester Pride!"
