Last Friday, May 9th was unified day at CHS. We had 23 unified partners with 34 unified athletes for the day!
Th morning was spent on the Century track/field doing 10 events (high jump, long jump, softball throw, mini hurdles, 50 m dash, bean bag toss, etc.) and then we spent the afternoon at Bowlocity! It was a great return of Unified Day at CHS and we are already looking ahead to 2026!


Congratulations to sophomore Luke Schuler who ran a 10.78 100 meter dash on Tuesday and is the number 7 sprinter in the state. Luke hasworked hard to get to this spot and CHS is proud of this Panther.

Today in Intro to Business, Mrs. Filzen’s 1st hour students had the awesome opportunity to hear from local entrepreneur Willie Rauen, owner and operator of Indigo Açaí Bowls! Mr. Rauen brought his food truck to Century and shared insights on starting a business, cost of goods sold, licensing, and his inspiring career journey.

Rochester Public Schools (RPS) today announced that the four-year graduation rate for the Class of 2024 reached 86%, according to data released by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE). This marks a 2.0 percentage point increase from the Class of 2023 (84%) and represents the highest graduation rate the district has achieved in the past six years. It was a busy beginning of May with college decision day, Big 9, and prom this weekend. May is definitely a great month to be a Panther.




Raiders Win 16-9!
The Rochester Raiders beat the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs on Wednesday night 16-9! Senior Andrew had 2 homeruns. Cooper Morrisey, a freshman, scored 1 point, Junior Leigha scored twice and Braxton raked in 3 points including 2 homeruns. Good job Raiders!

Our choir, band, and orchestra students will be participating in the Big 9 Music festival on Friday @ Mayo High School.
The Festival is free and open to the public during the day!
