Congratulations to Basmalla Hussein, Ana Milosevic, William Yan, and Erik Hill (not pictured) who recently competed in the MN State Econ Challenge at the University of Minnesota. After online testing, scenario analysis, and a quiz bowl, they brought home hardware, finishing 4th in the state's most competitive division. This is the highest any Southern Minnesota team has ever placed in the history of the competition.
You can tell by the picture, their futures are bright. Congratulations Panthers!

Look at these amazing Apparel and Design Class creations. Mr Olson says of them, "To say these students met my expectations would be a big old lie. They definitely exceeded them! I am so proud to put their work on display, and I hope they are too. Not only did they create the gowns, but they designed croquis, told me how they used the elements and principles of fashion design, and marketed a name for them. The classroom was so fun when they were making them!"

Seniors Erik Hill, William Li, and Brennan McWilliams represented Century at the National High School Ethics Bowl National Championship this past weekend in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Although with a match record of 2-2 they didn't advance to elimination rounds, they finished in 10th place out of 24 teams from around the country!

Congratulations to Century FCCLA! Our first year as a chapter at this school, and we had 5 participants in State Competition in two different categories, Professional Presentation, and Public Policy Advocate. All of them won Silver medals! One team qualified to move on to Nationals, and the second team qualified as an alternate for Nationals! Ms. Flores also won the "New on the Horizon" award recognizing new chapter advisors for outstanding dedication to building a strong chapter, building student leaders, and empowering member growth.

Another great opportunity to support CHS...this time softball!

Century was one of only two schools in the state to have two mock trial teams go undefeated into their respective region finals. Century's only loss this year was to the eventual state champions, Apple Valley. Because of the tremendous dedication of our student captains and team members, Century had a banner year as one of the top teams in the state. Way to go Century Litigators!

Join us for a great evening of Jazz!

Congratulations to our community for raising $8.802 for Special Olympics at our 3rd annual Polar Plunge!

Congratulations to the Century Math League team who placed 3rd at the state competition on Monday. They advanced after becoming Big 9 and Section 1AAA champions for the season. They also place 5th in the state for the season. Great work Math League!
