Today, students had the opportunity to sample foods inspired by different countries and cultures, helping them connect their classroom learning to real-world experiences. From trying new flavors to learning about traditions from around the globe, it was a fun and memorable way to celebrate all they’ve learned this year.

Students will build confidence and learn practical skills, including safe habits, house rules, after-school routines, handling phone calls and unexpected visitors, pet safety, personal safety, severe weather, fire safety, intruders, and basic first aid. Students will create their own masterpieces by pouring their favorite paint colors and designs onto a spinning canvas while pedaling a bike. The results are as fun to make as they are to see! On Thursday and Friday, our Kindergarten students had the opportunity to experience Jefferson’s Student-Led Career Fair! Students explored the Career Wheel, learned about a variety of careers, and participated in hands-on activities within each of the six career groups.
A huge thank you to our amazing 5th grade leaders who designed and led each career group activity. Your leadership, creativity, and hard work made this experience so meaningful for our younger students!
